Up until the tying goal, he had played well tonight. You could see he was really fighting it in OT.

I don't think they'd go to Vokoun, but it must be a thought for Byslma. We've seen this from Fleury before. It doesn't end well for the Pens

- PhillySportsGuy

I thought he looked bad on the blue jackets first goal and his rebound control is mediocre.

This is setting up where the Jackets have all the pressure and the Pens score on their first shot.
- opeth_pa

Apparently you don't want to score first in the Pens/Jackets matchup, and you definitely don't want to go up by two...that's the f'n kiss of death.

I remember Dubinsky having a major downswing after having early success. He's, definitely, at his best now.

perhaps you can talk me off a ledge, but im getting dangerously close to wanting them to lose this series, in the hopes that major changes come.

When they got that 3-0 lead, I knew Columbus was coming back.

I just don't like the Pens style of play in the playoffs. They don't outwork the other team. They try to out skill them. In the regular season, it will work because teams won't really game plan for individual games.

Columbus has been saying the whole series they are going to dump and chase because they know they can win those battles.

Easy to love that team the way they work and play. I want the Flyers to play with that desperation Friday night.

It's really amazing how Fleury implodes. No way either the Dubinsky goal or the Foligno goal should have happened. If MAF had just stayed in the net, the game is probably over.

definitely. and its a shame too, because he played absolutely fantastically behind a team that basically didnt give one (frank) about him all game. but when push comes to shove, he just chokes it.

I wouldnt be opposed to starting the next season without Letang, Fleury, Orpik, and Scuderi.

Theyre just lazy pussies far too often to be successful. I dont know what it is, or why, but they just dont seem to want it bad enough. They sure as hell dont deserve it.

The Nash trade wasn't bad. Guys like Dubinsky and Anisimov have played well for them and Kerby Ryckel has potential.

Up to that point, the last 6 mins or so, the Pens were doing a great job of short shifting, getting the puck out quickly and getting it deep..........then........hahahahahaha

I think a lot of it has to do with bad habits. I think they want to win and they're trying hard. They just don't work the walls well enough. Thats the type of game teams are going to play against the Pens.

I, also, think the team lacks confidence in Fleury. When he lets in a bad goal, it just drags the whole team down. They start to feel like they need to play a perfect game and not allow any scoring chances.
