Gunnarson is fine as a 3/4/5 you are not going to find much of an improvment for 3 mil or less

This debate over Gunnarson vs. Morris is lunacy.

Not only is Morris 8 years older, but the salary/cap hit will be pretty much even after Morris' next deal. Any upgrade or difference in terms of skill between this two players is so small that it's practically irrelevant and is basically a lateral more. That said, given the difference in age and the fact that Gunnar is already under contract, the advantage goes to him.

He's horrible dude, does nothing particularly well and gets maybe 10 minutes of ice on a good team.

If the Leafs want to make progress they need to divest themselves of poopbags like Gunnarson.

you are under selling them... this past season is just an abomination.. the whole team was a disaster in possession and shot differentials. Not a few individual players.. the whole team..

I agree. He's fair value for now. As time goes on 4 - 6th dman are going to be making 3 mil unless on ELC and until we bring some guys up he's what we've got.
