As I don't really see the Leafs being able to rid themselves of Phaneuf, the main priority should be trying to get a top pairing right handed shot Dman to play with him.....if this does not happen, the Leafs off season will be considered a failure in my opinion.

I like what Gleason brings to the table, and think that he'll be a lot better player if this defense can improve some in the off season.

Gunnarsson actually has trade value, that is why I propose moving him. Not for prospects or picks, include him in a trade plus other parts to upgrade our right handed dmen. It makes sense to me, as long as we're upgrading.
