How about Dubinsky as the next captain of the Sabres?

Ehrhoff for Dubinsky?

The Jills Are Suing

"Many NFL cheerleaders are now suing their respective NFL teams for being made to work for free. And by being made to work for free, I mean, they put on cakes of makeup and super tight workout gear, cut any female dog who stepped in front of them in line, and begged the teams to let them come cheer for free. Beyond just the dispute over the meaning of the word free, some of Buffalo Jills cheerleader claim they were gawked at, fondled, and told to jiggle their bodies to see how they looked in the unis during tryouts. Outrageous. All you ever wanted was to pom pom in a super short skirt and a bra for 60,000 drunk dudes and this is what you’re subjected to? Even off-Interstate strippers get treated nicer. And they get paid. Which leads me to one (frank)ing conclusion, why the hell are you not stripping? You know, you can hook up with professional athletes and have illegitimate babies via the Internet these days. If you’re a stripper, your odds rise astronomically of at least one child support claim. And you don’t need to put up with all that objectification nonsense, not without some Washington’s stuffed into your crannies. Despite all the brochures, cheerleading is not a real profession. These ‘indentured servitude’ lawsuits make a mockery of the real misery of slave labor experienced by seamstresses in Myanmar or Kendra Wilkinson’s husband. Let it go. G-O. Let it go."

Manuel has yet to prove he's as good as Dilfer was.
- sbroads24

Still not a good comparison . Dilfer was a sixth overall pick that only started 2 games his rookie year and played in 6 . You need to give Manual another season before you begin to pass judgement. Just too soon to pass judgement . I know Russell Wilson did great as a Rookie . He was older had played professional baseball and was 5th year senior at Wisconsin . We should have drafted him . But for some reason Buddy Nix had signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a big money contract and we were stuck . That was a major mistake.

Always thought they were getting a raw deal . I found out years ago they got no compensation and had to make all sorts of sketchy appearances the agency that handled them made money off.

They say Edmonton may be looking to trade #3 overall if Ekblad is gone.

Potentially looking for an established d-man to expedite their rebuild... Would the Oil consider Tyler Myers for the 3rd overall pick (maybe add the STL pick)?

If the Sabres were to come away with both Sams, this might not be such a long process at all..

Conacher/Hodgson/Stuart
Foligno/Ennis/Stafford
Bennett/Reinhart/Girgensons
Scott/Konopka/Kaleta

Ehrhoff/Pysyk
Webber/McCabe
Ristolinen/Zadorov

Why is everyone so keen to sign the star of the moment to a long term deal around here . We will pass . You build through the draft and then fill in the pieces when your core is built . At least that is what our GM says . I tend to think he knows what he is doing.

Tyler Myers is going nowhere for a #3 pick . He has rounded the corner . Defense men take years to to develop . He is really starting to flourish under Nolan . I am excited to see him for a full season under Nolan. Besides that Zadarov will spend another year in Junior and I bet whoever we pick at #2 gets sent back after a small trial . Both Murray and Nolan do not believe in rushing kids up

You guys aren't giving Dubinsky enough credit as a player...

He's perfect for the Sabres!

Here we have a 27 yr old, 6'1", 215lb center who brings toughness, leadership and skill to the table. He hasn't peaked yet and can be a 60pt, 100+ min, character guy.

And bring Nick Foligno with him while ur at it!

I could care less about the Jills . But it is a bullpoop situation . The NFL is a money machine and they treat all these cheerleaders like meat for the sake of exposure.

Btw, the crowd has been great in Columbus, which enforces what I have been saying for a couple of years. Hockey can succeed in just about any "non traditional" market. You need to put a team worth watching on the ice. Atlanta failed because they were rarely worth watching, not because it wasn't a traditional market. People come out to see winners.

Not interested . Still a year or two early for Buffalo to make any such move . Don't want to trade assets for him . Want to know more about our assets . Only has 1 year left on his deal as well . Then he is a UFA.

All I'm going to say, though, is that it's a two way street. It's not like these are what they do for a living. I know because I used to work with one of them. These girls go crawling to the NFL, not the other way around. The treatment isn't right, but they can easily avoid it.

When I get some players worth being led, then I will worry about acquiring "leadership" and "talent".

And the NFL takes total of advantage of them being desperate . And now they are going to pay . The lawsuit has merit . NFL will lose . I could care less if there are cheerleaders.

When the smoke clears, I think you'll see Buffalo draft Reinhart (if he's avail). Quite simply, he's the closest thing in this draft to a bonafide #1c.

-First off he's a centerman through & through (no talk of moving to winger like Bennett, not even practical for Reinhart because he's just a heady distributor).

-Secondly, Reinhart seems to have (IMO) a higher offensive upside than Bennett. In the end, to be considered a "#1" center, you need big numbers. The WHL is a very tough and defensive-minded league, and Reinhart still surpassed the 100pt mark.

Now with all that being said, Reinhart's versatility will help him make this squad as a rook, on a 3rd line/gadget player who can be rolled out in any situation.

Have you listened to anything Murray has said ? He has already said he has no problem sending him down . That is what Nolan believes in as well. They want their players to realize success before the come up . If they could they would send him Rochester but CHL transfer rule will not allow that. I am not wishing or making this stuff up . It has been stated by our GM and coach on numerous occasions.I want Reinhart as well . Both his brothers were sent back to junior by their respective teams . They come from NHL stock . Their father is no rush for them to play in the NHL either.
