The Callahan fan club was not around to give us his advanced statistics and tell us how much we need him now. Made it pretty boring around here. Then no season ticket holders were around either to tell us how this team better be in the playoffs next year or they will stop buying their tickets. It was a tough afternoon for those of us that don't know what we are talking about.

I think he might be related to Callahan . I will state again . I do not hate Callahan . This just is not the right time for him in Buffalo . Too much money , Too long a term and about two years too early for us.

I have a feeling Nolan will create a "hard working & overachieving" identity here in Buffalo. If for no other reason, because that's exactly what he did with the NYI (as well as his last go in Buf).

It sounds like Nolan's first goal is to whip these guys into shape, & that's a good place to start. Soon guys like Pysyk, Ristolinen, McCabe, & Zadorov will emerge and better stabalize our back end.

Draft Bennett and most likely he will be in juniors for a year. If we suck next year we can have him play the wing with McDavid or Eichel. If for some reason we do not suck as much then you have Bennett as your top line center regardless of what critics say he can play center in the nhl...
