I haven't given up on them, and won't. But what we're seeing tonight isn't unexpected, to me.

The Rags are a good team, and they skate well. They have some useful players, good players who fill roles, throughout their lineup. We have some younger players who are still developing in their roles, and it's difficult to maintain consistent offensive flow.

Just let them play through, support them -- this was never going to be easy, and getting where we all want to go is going to take some time and growth, maybe two more players like Laughton and Ghost, if they can help quickly.

Who is DV2?
- Flyersgod

Why Datsyuk V2 of course , I mean Couturier.

So let me see if i get this right..
He shouldn't be playing a lot, he is this stud shut down player but really doesnt do anything else.

How the hell was that not a fighting penalty for those 2?

Id rather get rid of him, maybe package him in a deal for someone. I dont know who but someone that can take some pressure off of G. He may not be a first liner, but my god they really need a goal scorer.

As soon as they give me 60 minutes of effort, i'll cheer them regardless. I've cheered for Flyer teams that lost but died trying to win. This team doesn't have the win at any cost mentality.

Look how the rangers block shots. Now look at how the Flyers block shots. Our forwards play to block the shot to get a breakaway. They just don't ever block the shot.

We will see. I wont count them out this game because I've seen how desperation can make them play.

Its just really frustrating watching the Rangers continuously out skate them, beat them to loose pucks and make the D back off until Emery can smell their farts.

Team speed is a non issue.

Rangers are keeping everything to perimeter or deep from the points and choosing to counterattack when its available.

I think they need to put Streit instead of Kimmo. Kimmo does not move at all.

- PT21

Kimmo is a (frank)ing dead horse. Can't wait for the ghost era to begin

Coots could bring you back a stud dman alone. And i'd do it only if it was a young stud dman and even then i'd probably balk at it.

Going into the off-season i'm looking to package players with the Schenn brothers/Grossman to get some better talent.

Yet the Flyers had the territorial control that period.
Outshot the Rangers 13-4.

Meh. In the right deal I trade anyone, but he has shown an ability to shut down the best players in the league. I think his offensive game tops out around a Handzus but I understand some many not agree.

Its also not easy to develop an offensive game when you are continuously going up against the best offensive players of the other team. I don't agree with how they are developing him in that regard.

Don't give a (frank) what the shots were (no offense).

I saw one team outplaying the other. Flyers didn't have many good chances, mostly weak perimeter crap.

Sometimes, you gotta acknowledge when another team has something to do.with that.

I mean, look at the shot blocks by the Rangers, even up two goals. They're sacrificing themselves, risking injury.

it's just not gonna be easy every night, and while I don't ever rule out offseason moves, I don't think trading everyone based off this series is going to be helpful. Sometimes, young players have to go through this stuff

Not in my opinion. Flyers have had a few quality chances that period, but they cant break down the Rag box. Once they scored that 3rd goal, theyve sat back in a defensive shell.
- KINGKENZO

Rangers are letting the Flyers out shoot them. Rangers are playing back and just blocking shots. They are keeping to the inside of the hashmarks and not allowing their dmen to take any checks on the forechecks.

Wouldn't kill Read to remember how to score.
