Yeah, it's something to worry about to be sure. But nothing to be done about it. have to find a way.

It's good news. (if the other series goes to 7 games).
Plenty of time to heal the bumps and bruises from the 1st round.

It's a luxury.

Also, no American refs in US cities when the local team is facing a Canadian team and no Ontario born ref in Leafs and Sens games.

It only makes sense.

Also, a ref from Quebec is automatically a Habs fan, and to the point that he's willing to put his career at risk for a Habs win.

Also gives Bettman lots of time to line up the Refs correctly.

That's the plus side. Others may say you lose momentum, and the other team winning a more competitive series and then playing right away, could benefit them.

i mostly worry about Price. a goalie can lose his edge and his timing with that much time off.

i wonder, assuming we face Boston, if Doug Murray comes in for Bouillon or Weaver. or maybe that would be playing into their hands.

Could make an argument either way.
But anytime your team is resting while others are getting beat around it can't be all bad.

Galchenyuk will probably be good to go by the time the 2nd round starts...I wonder who will sit (if it's not him)

I suspect Murray will get a chance if it's Boston. If it's Detroit, he won't see the ice.
(frank), another Boston series.
