Who even gives a (frank) what tweedle-slightlysmarterthanthesenilefemale genitaliabesidehim says? Habs kicked the ever loving (frank) out of the Lightning.

Yeah. Bolts woke up in the last 30 minutes or so, but it was already too late.

I don't think that's what he meant.

What I understand is that THE LEAGUE opens itself to criticism when assigning a local referee in Montreal.

And let's face it... every time a call goes the Habs way, it's because there's a french referee on the ice.

Ask stormey.

The NHL has to assume either refs are biased or they aren't

The Latvian made some great saves and Price didn't, really gave TB momentum.

Palat kicks ass. That's all I got from the series...and he can fly.

he really can but he needs room to get up to speed and he didn't get much. I thought he was their best forward.

He's been taking a beating but he really did nail Cooper down, especially on the road.

Ron McLean vient de dire que les arbitres francophones ne devraient pas être d'office quand le CH joue! ayoye...

- Jean_Perron

Yeah, that's not at all what he said. It's more fun to think he said that, I get it. But that's not what he said.

The above being true, he should have said nothing on the subject, because nothing good can come of it.

All Ron Maclean was trying to say is that when he reffed he would make calls based on his feeling for that team.

Also I thought Chris Lee as the other ref balanced things out.

Thank God Chris Lee called the trip. Otherwise...
And by the way, if he doesn't call that and Bournival coughs up the puck and it leads to a goal?

Human nature. In fact, when I reffed, I went out of my way to not be biased against a team with one or two friends on it, or for whatever reason there could have been a bias for. Usually turned out ok.
Here, I ref the opposite way.

I think anyone who has reffed before should know it's actually difficult to be biased.

Curtesy is a word. It's a legal term. I've used it before in emails and I guess the autocorrect did me in Stef.

I know what it is.

I'm sorry, it was childish of me to point it out. No clue where I could have picked up such a habit.

Well, it's a word. Has nothing to do with being childish. Had I spelled it cstreouy, then...
