Who else can play? I think Therrien's afraid White will kill someone. Parrros?
- habby

I don't mind white.

edit: that being said they're up 3-0 so we should probably all just stfu about the lineup.

I'm shocked at how Montreal controls the play for most of the games.

i think Montreal's experience/Tampa's youth has been the defining aspect of this series.

agreed but that should only be done when you're actually helping the team by playing through the injury.

At this point he's not doing that and Tampa isn't really such a rough team. why not let him get better in case he has to get his balls speared in round 2?

- dt99999

he's been spotty in his own zone. bad game one. though very good in ot of game 1. much better game 2.

great in the offensive zone in game 3, bad in his own zone.

seems like the general assumption is that Tampa wins the game if that goal isn't called back. not so sure that's the case. it would have been 2-1 with more than a period left. that's not the end of the world, especially given that Montreal, to that point, was easily the better team all series long. i agree that it was a bitter pill for the Lightning to swallow but i'm not shedding any tears for a team that has been outplayed in all 3 games so far and finds themselves down 3-0.

It's a stupid rule and Price played it perfectly but the TB goal shouldn't have counted. If Kilborn doesn't end up in the back of the goal on his own the goal counts. He drove the net and put himself in there.

Either way I agree the game was far from over either way.

i think some of it falls on Cooper too. they have not adjusted well.

it's 3 games in. it hasn't worked all series long. it's actually leading to chances and goals for Montreal. how many more stretch passes up the middle of the ice are they going to attempt?

reminds me a bit of the Pageau goal from last year in game 4, in that we saw some similar consequences. it was a huge moment in the defining game of the series. although i don't recall the Canadian media whining about it like they are with this one.

yeah he looks pretty flustered too.

rookie coach, young team, injured no. 1 goalie.

It's Stamkos or nothing for them I guess.

he's in a tough spot though. i don't know how many teams can lose their workhorse goalie and win a playoff series. Lindback certainly has not been their biggest problem. in fact he's the only reason the game was tied when the goal was disallowed. but a guy like Bishop makes up for an awful lot of deficiencies on your backend.

Part of the reason the rule exists is to protect the goalies. They shouldn't forget that because of one goal no matter how big.
