Are we all ignoring the crazy post intimating that Mason injured himself while embellishing his fall? I can't decide if we're ignoring it or if people missed it.

We know it's crap, but:

15.1 Calling a Penalty - Should an infraction of the rules which would call for a minor, major, misconduct, game misconduct or match penalty be committed by a player or goalkeeper of the side in possession of the puck, the Referee shall immediately blow his whistle and penalize the offending player.

Should an infraction of the rules which would call for a minor, major, misconduct, game misconduct or match penalty be committed by a player of the team not in possession of the puck, the Referee shall raise his arm to signal the delayed calling of a penalty. When the team to be penalized gains control of the puck, the Referee will blow his whistle to stop play and impose the penalty on the offending player or goalkeeper.

So, yeah.

I really have no idea what this guy is talking about. The puck hit henrik and then bounced out into the crease/slot. Pretty much everyone who posts on there doesnt know poop about hockey

Off topic, but did anyone see the LA/SJ or TB/MTL series coming?

I figured Montreal would win (actually, I did pick TB for an upset on a stretch), but I didn't see them dominating TB like they have. Lindback is the only reason that the game wasn't a 6-2 loss.

I figured LA/SJ would be a much closer series. I'm amazed that SJ has outscored them 13-5 over 2 games. That's just unreal. I mean, SJ has a good team, but I expected more from LA.

See but I dont think he gained control of the puck. From memory I think it just deflected off of him.

Keep in mind the TSN boards are pretty low on IQ.

TSN themselves just had to do a story during the INT on how many different Flyer goaltenders have been in the net since Esche.

Surprised by Quick's play.

I only go on there for a good laugh. Classic TSN writers not knowing anything about the Flyers.

I fell asleep last night and the Kings were up 2-0, I thought the score was wrong when I checked this morning. Sharks looks superior in every area. Niemi is outplaying Quick. I wouldn't count LA out just yet, but things look bleak for them.

I still think the Hawks will beat the Blues. I hope I'm wrong.

Quick's been off, but the defense has been porous. Like, Andreas Lilja/Bruno Gervais porous.

Ergh. I hate the Canadian superiority complex. It drives me insane. Especially having to deal with it with the Olympics is aggravating.

I had Montreal winning the series in 6.
Very surprised by the LA/SJ series. I had LA in 7 but unless they figure out how to shore up their defense it could be SJ in 4 or 5

Anyone know if the Flyers are scheduled for a home practice next weekend? Would love to go down and catch a practice as well as watch Ghost.

Their defense has been subpar. Do you think it was the right choice for Sutter to leave Quick in there last night? No matter what arguements any one makes to justify his decision, I just dont think its the right move to leave your starting former veniza goaltender in there to get slaughtered in the playoffs.

I doubt it since they have Sunday's game in NY at noon.

Unless they have an optional skate Saturday morning.
