i doubt komarov takes 1.2 to sign, closer to 2. would be nice to sign moulson though so he doesnt score against the leafs every time he plays them

But the Leaf's cap situation is pretty good. The big pieces are locked up long-term and there are only two really huge contracts on the team, Phaneuf and Kessel.

Clarkson's 5.25M, as useless as he is, isn't going to cripple this team. Especially when you average it against someone like JVR's contract.

I'd also say the top d-men in this class are probably going to demand more than 5 this year... as sad as it is.
