Torres looks like a man on fire tonight

It's like Denzel on ice

Outside the first goal, Lindback had a great game.

Lindbeck gave one softy, but he easily robbed 2-3 goals tonight.

I think Torres is due for another head shot. It's been a while.

Game could have (and probably should have) been over in that first period.

He's actually done a great job since joining the Sharks, no stupid poop so far.

Officiating was pretty brutal I'll admit, and mostly in favour of the Habs. I can't defend the disallowed goal at all. I will say that the Briere penalty that got the Bolts their first was pretty god awful as well, though not nearly as blatantly important or detrimental to the Habs as the disallowed goal was to Tampa. Habs got lucky on the calls tonight, and it hurts even more when you're on the wrong side and it's the playoffs (not to mention a gam as important as this one).

The one thing I will stand up for, is that I don't believe Emelin was trying to intentionally hit Stamkos. Can't know for sure, but I don't see it as similar to the Neal knee.

He can be a really effective player. Doesn't get nearly enough credit for that.

Yup. Better team did win.
- Michael_Stuart

A team should never leave a playoff hockey game wondering about a bad call that significantly changed the outcome though. That call was bush league.

Of course every Hab fan is going to hang onto Ron Maclean's point of view like it's gospel and disregard that every other hockey mind on CBC said it was a bad call AS well as every analyst on TSN.

Ron's a rec referee, of course he's going to side with the ref. Zebra's stick together

I think the Bolts youth caught up to them, they do not seem sure of themselves. I do think this will be a good thing for this team going into next year.

I don't see them going lightly Tuesday, I just hope they throw caution to the wind and go out there and play for the fun of the game.

What I don't understand about this series is how Cooper has not adjusted to Montreals D to get the puck into the attacking zone, I am amazed how bad the Bolts look trying to get it up ice.

I don't think we resign Callahan unless he takes 5M. I think we need another top line Dman first to go with Hedman, then Carle/Gudas is a good second pair and Brewer/Sustr/Barberio is not bad.

I don't think he was trying to hit Stamkos. I just think he could have done more to get out of the way. I could be very, very wrong. Like you said, we can't know for sure.

The guy makes his mark on playoff series one way or another. Can't argue with that

Some team is going to pay Callahan $6MM+ and regret it.

The way they cough the puck up, I feel like I'm watching another blue and white team

I'm saying it's blue and white disease.

For sure, tonight for example he's probably the best player on the ice for either team.

Unfortunately his reputation is all people will remember him for, but that's his own fault

That game deserved to at least go to OT in my opinion which I was looking forward to I might add.

Me and my buddy were pissed at that call. We were yelling at the TV.

I stayed surprisingly calm. Other than the puddle of tears I'm now bathing in, everything is just fine.

This is good experience for the bolts. They used to rely on Lecavalier and ST-Louis to lead the way in the playoffs. They will learn and new leaders will emerge.
