Lighting got shafted. However they weren't ready to play from the start of the game.

That's what this blog should be about

#typical Montreal was trending after the stamkos incident . If I copied some of these comments , #typicalmontrealfans would probably be trending . Wow, just wow

I remember the frogs comments in this thread before the series started. How about them?

Bruins fans were great when Stamkos went down in Boston.

So did they have to take him out on a stretcher tonight ?

Yup. They had a terrible start. Took them until the last half of the game (maybe even the third period) to get anything going. Even then it wasn't enough. Montreal was the better team.

And Emelin is known for his agility right ?

He had 0.5 seconds to move his leg, took him 0.7. Didn't make the effort.

I've been watching hockey for 20+ years and that was ptobably the worst officiated game I have ever seen. TB tied it up and an over-zealous ref disallowed the goal. There's is no debate here, just stating facts.

Habs fans can try to defend it all they want, if it was the other way around, Montreal would be rioting the streets. You still get the win and the 3-0 series lead but show some class and respect in a situation where clearly one team got screwed ala Bret Hart at 1997 Survivor Series (for my WWE peeps)

Anyways in the long run doesn't matter which team loses to Bruins in the next round.

You did not answer my question. Have you ever played hockey? You post like you have never been in a real game as you have zero hockey knowledge.

Bolts were dead in the water until that garbage penalty call on Briere and they scored on that PP to tie it at 1

For massive chunks of the series the bolts are being dominated by the habs. That's why its 3-0

For what it's worth, that was a good goal. The real question is, would have Tampa won the game if that goal would have been allowed. Not sure about that one. I was expecting a bunch of powerplays for Tampa to make up for the allowed but the refs feel it was the right call! When that's the case, there isn't much you can do.

If it's the other way around, we most likely would complain as well. Because we get emotional about it.

He saw Stamkos at the last second when going back to his own zone. Lifted his leg to try to avoid him but it was to late. Hockey play. Bad luck for Stamkos.

If he thinks Emelin hit him on purpose, then he most think Simmonds injured Giroux on purpose too.

How the "heck" can you come to that specific conclusion unless the facts were calculated based on the desired result. It would take the type of ultra slow motion with time stamps to even have a chance to calculate that.
