And the ending point. This is not going to happen. Why would Toronto take on an additional $4 million cap hit. They can't afford him, nor do they need him. They need defensibly sound 2 way centres right now.

Kadri and the 1st are non starters.

If the Leafs are getting Spezza, it could make sense to move Kadri, but there would need to be more coming back.

SOme of it makes sense, Spezza does wanna play in TO. Murray has always liked Kadri since draft day in 09. Question I have is that is are the Leafs gonna make a HUGE trade to get a #1 center than play him on the 2nd line? Or are the Leafs prepared to break up the Bozak & Kessel combo?

Spezza is a free agent next year. That really brings his value down. I do believe that the leafs are interested in Spezza. But in order for this deal to happen I would imagine it would be a big trade. The Sens would be unloading a big contract so maybe the Leafs would as well. Just something to think about.

Have you written a letter to the league offices? I mean, it's not much but if your plan of attack is pissing and moaning on HB, we will still be listening to you when the Oilers make the playoff's.
