Do any of you honestly think think they can get back into this series?

Down 3-1 to the Wings I was very confident they would pull it together and at least get it to a G7.

But I see nothing over the last 3.5 months let alone the last week that gives me any glimmer that this team has the stuff to get it done.

One thing for sure NHL playoff hockey is incredibly unpredictable....things do change quickly...yet.....

I'm hopeful, but they have to be smart, deny as many point shots as possible
and somebody in the rearguard is going to have to step up HUGE in Seabs' absence.

If they lose tonight...they're prolly phucked.

The list of elite goal tenders has lost a member. You can scratch Quick off of that list.

I said it earlier....amazing the number of 2 goal leads that just evaporate and turn into losses now.

Torres is amazing.
Remember his hit on Seabrook? Then on Hossa?

Not quite the level of Keith's elbow to Danielle's head but close. And still out trolling I see. Good for you. Everyone needs a goal in life they can achieve.

Always hated this line but it is true: one game at a time. I don't think they will pull it off, but just win game 3 and go from there. They usually suck the 1st 3 games but then turn on the switch. How many times over the years were they down like 2-1 then win a huge game 4 to even it up and dominate games 5 and 6? Of course home ice would have helped. Win tomorrow then who knows

They are the champs, and I do not doubt that they win one of the next 2, but Blues will have too much for them I said before game 1 Tarasenko is the guy that brings that elite scoring....

I hope I am wrong, but we have been sitting here rationalizing and making excuses for a mediocre team for almost 5 months now...

I won't believe it until the Hawks actually look like the Hawks.

YES IT COULD HAPPEN. the Hawks seem to dominate the Blues when the Hawks have choice of match up. Missing Seabrook will hurt but the Blues missing Backes will hurt more. Backes got rocked. No way he plays at 100% the rest of the series .

And even if the Hawks pull even in games 3 and 4 , they Hawve to win one road game.... So far the Hawks don't has every much composure on the road.

The vaunted Kings' D has gone missing and are now on a milk carton. And Quick is doing a Phelps impression out there.

Not sure about the rest of you...but I have a different vibe for the Sharks this year.

Relentless bunch with some good young players complimenting those veterans.

LA has it's back against the wall big time.

Conversely, just give all due credit to the Sharks, this will not be the only team that has this done to them...

When I saw he was coming back....I said look out...he is a sniper. How many chances has he had in these first 2 games so far. Hwks no answer for #91. C2 had a couple of monster saves vs him.

Nahh...they are missing Zus, Clowe and Doughlas Murray...

Havlat and Tyler Kennedy, on roster and can't get on the ice....100 games of playoff experience and can't play.....

I never liked their d zone scheme. If the forwards are going to collapse so low they need to block shots. And the d have to tie up sticks to stop deflections and clear some people out. Neither do that. I really like the forwards up higher pressuring the point men

Id be absolutely amazed if they came back given the crushing magnitude of the way they lost the previous two games(giving up last minute leads and losing in OT, one in the final seconds). Throw in Seabs being out of the lineup, the D is gonna be a disaster IMO. Blues are a great team, playing better than us right now. Not as if we've completely given away 2 games....but the fact that we came within seconds of winning 2 games in which we arguably didnt deserve to win in the first place is just so deflating its beyond words....If it was meant to be you'd figure we would have snuck out of there with at least 1 of those games, especially if it meant temporarily losing a guy like Seabs.

I just cant believe how guys like Cracknell and Porter have outplayed guys like Kruger and Smith. Now THAT is something i did not see coming at all....What the hell happened to our 4th line? Where are guys like Regin and Morin?....what the hell is up with the entire effort of the team being so out of wack, not playing OUR game....falling into a the Blues style and trying to out hit them? Just cant believe what iv seen for these past 2 games....

7 now....what the hell has happened not watching the game. The great Daryle Sutter should be entertaining in his post game.

Backes is a huge loss. Who will play toews tough now? It could be a trickle-down thing now with other players slotted differently.

Yep in agreement with most of the comments to my post. Sad to say I am more concerned about which hawk gets pasted tomorrow.

He is great offensively but WE have 4 game-breakers up front. Unfortunately they have been invisible. Sure Toews and Kane are injured but so is tarasenko and he came up big. No team in the league can match 4 guys like Toews, Kane, sharp, and the boss man. I am disappointed in kruger and smith, too

Same here. Any sort of effort to try and will our way to an epic comeback in this series might damn well cost us a player, or two. I dont think we've seen the last of the brutal hits in this series. Blues will make sure to take their runs if an opportunity knocks.

Cant really think of a single forward who hasn't played below expectations or like complete poop, not a one....Thats just insane. I guess u could say we can only get better from this point....but thats what i said after game 1 and i think we might have literally gotten worse somehow in game 2...
