I saw the movie "Draft Day" today.
I thought it was pretty good.
Our Bills were in it for a few minutes, and Russ Brandon had a brief appearance as well.

I saw it last week with a friend of mine and we both didn't like it much. It was supposed to be based on a real life sport experience/day and it seemed too unrealistic. Some of the trades made were stupid in my opinion and would never happen in the NFL.

IMO, The NHL should put something out like this. I think it would go over better, Except do it in real lfe. Follow a team for a year and create a 2 hour movie from Draft day to the next draft day.

No.

Seabrook should not play for the remainder of the first round, if not remainder of the playoffs IMO, Discuss?

Nahhh that was an accident. Imagine if he didn't try to stop though, that kid would be on the other end of the ice.

It was a really bad hit. I figured he was getting 3 games but he shouldn't play in the rest of the series IMO

Somebody mentioned Spezza earlier, good player he's just a skating MASH unit. Let him go to the Leafs.

Nope, Toews should be suspended from hockey for 5 years. What a dirt bag. He clearly had intent to injure on a minor.

Unless they get their poop together, he won't be. They're already down 2 games. And they've both been tough losses.

They have had the lead with less than 5 minutes to go in both games though. This series could easily be 2-0 Chicago. I don't see the Hawks rolling over. Which team misses who more? The Hawks missing Seabrook or the Blues missing Backes?

Honestly, I think even that debate is pretty close. Keith is the guy you always hear talked about in Chicago but Seabrook is a huge piece for them.

At first thought I thought this was going to hurt the Blues more. Then I talked myself out of it, missing a guy who can play 25 plus minutes on the blue line is a big deal as well. I think you are right its pretty much an even race on who is going to miss more.

What you are forgetting is if this series goes to a game 6 Seabrook is back while Backes is probably still concussed and out of the series.

Backes being out is far worse for STL because of the time table.

Especially when you take into account that it affects Keith too. They've been partners for so long that playing with someone else will take a bit of adjusting. Keith is a good player, so I'm sure his play won't drop off dramatically or anything, but it's still not the same for him to be out there with someone else.

It's definitely a huge hit to St. Louis to be without Backes though. He's their Captain and he tends to set the tone for how the rest of the team plays. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Oh man, poor little guy. Toews clearly leaves his feet and has intent to injure.
