Yep and if Colorado wants to sign him they have to give him atleast 1 mil or a 1.5 mil raise. So he would be making something like 7 mil a year for Colorado. Ooo did I say Ufa I wanted??? Just caught that. Oops

Spot on. I don't see the Sabres making a splash in FA this year...maybe a mid /low signing for a 3-4 D-man...possibly a 7-9 forward. No big signing like Callahan that in 3 years the contract will be a boat anchor on the teams cap space. The larger signings come latter in the rebuild to fill gaps not addressed through drafting. I do see the possibility of a trade at the draft though...maybe package an existing player with one of the 2nds or St Louis 1st (if we get it, Go Blues!).
