No generalization everyone I've met from these fan bases have been like this.. I haven't met many Oilers fans so I cant say.. Leafs fans... I've met plenty.. The ones who go to the games in Toronto are rich business types who don't care about the game the ones who invade our arena when we aren't very good and give our tickets away are obnoxious but sort of in the little brother type way.. Canucks fans? Only know a few don't mind them too much but from what I saw with the riots a few years ago they cant be that great..

Lindback has made 4 huge saves to keep them in this game. Tampa is done for if they don't turn this around

Oilers fans are mostly just frustrated and impatient. Most are realistic. When we started the 'official' rebuild in 2010, we had few trade able vets, and fewer quality prospects. Considering that you need 23 NHL players to make the playoffs , I think a 5 year plan was unrealistic. We might make it in 6.

From my personal experience you can't judge the fan base because of the fanatics. With that being said I have traveled to Montreal in the summer and many of the citizens pretend to only speak French just to avoid helping a tourist with directions. Went to a few games in Philly and the fans were cheering when people got injured like total jabroni's actually Boston fans were quite pleasant but you can tell there is a fair amount of denial when you talk about their teams. For future reference if you ever bring up the fact that bellicheck was caught cheating, this argument will never end and you are only wasting your breath. I'd say every fan base has their snobs, nice guys, punks and a holes but these 3 are quite prominent and may even be proud of their status

Grew up in the same neighbourhood as Johnny Boychuck. His mom told my mom that when they went to the finals in Van sporting Bruins Jerseys the got pelted with popcorn and had beer spit on their backs. These people are in their 60's

The Bruins were horrible for a while though.. We use to destroy them throughout the early and middle 2000's actually all Boston teams sucked until like 2000... I feel like that contributed to some of their cockiness.. They as a city hadn't won anything in years then all of the sudden in a span of 10 years all four major sports teams win a championship some of the teams more than once...
