I think the Weber comparison is a bad one too. Weber is the best defensemen in the game, Ekblad doesn't have that potential IMO

We have three top picks coming in the next two years...
I'm Ok with taking 3 forwards,
But if we happen to take 2 forwards and a defenseman that can play 25min a night and SCORE as well....

Not in this draft class. I think the offers to move up will be pretty weak. Next year teams will be willing to open the vault and nobody will even take the calls.

They could but it would have to be a good young player, I know Myers is starting to turn things around but IMO they keep him. I know Ekblad is a good player the question is............. are we better of with Ekblad or Myers? which player will be better for the Sabres in the long run?

That's just as unlikely as him being the next Shea Weber. I think he can be a top pairing guy though.
