Yeah..cardinals pitcher miller tweaked his hamstring running out a bunt the same day Getzlaf ate a puck. Getzlaf eats a puck, has a baby and plays two nights later. Meanwhile Miller is going to miss his start about a week later. I know its regular season vs playoffs but hockey players are amazing when it comes to playing through pain.

All you bandagon Hawks fans are probably too fresh to remember when the Hawks were the laughing stock of the league with only 1 playoff appearance in 11 years and some of the worst attendance records in the league. I actually always liked the Hawks but the recent crop of bandwagon fans are giving you guys a bad reputation. Have some class.

I know it is only 2 games, but the big 4 have been huge disappointments so far. I did expect it from playoff hossa but Kane and toews are usually clutch. Funny how we all figured it was the blues' injuries that would kill them, but the blues players have looked good in the series while the hawk injured players toews and kane look really affected.

I wish they showed what led up to him using the stick. No player takes more of a pounding and cheap shots than keith. He is always targeted. I bet chara uses his stick 10x more than Keith.

Last I checked shoulder to shoulder checks were legal... No different than Bickell targeting Tarasenko's right arm/wrist on a hit rather than hitting in the shoulder in game 1. Someone said it before and it was too true, players don't show respect to each other, at least too often they don't.

I can't see more than 2. 4 would be a bonus for the Blues. The drop off from him to say more minutes to Leddy or Roszival is significant.

Given all that I have seen over the years, my attitude this year with the Blues is just get it done. I don't care about excuses whether they are injuries, referees, bad bounces, etc. Good, championship teams find a way to win no matter what. We have to become that if we ever want to win a championship. I told a friend of mine that the team needs to find a way to survive until they get healthy or until they win it all. I'm sticking with that sentiment.

I hope Q sits Bollig for Morin and moves Handzus to the 4th line.

Bollig bring nothing playing 3 1/2 minutes per game. If Bicks can keep up the physical play and maybe Shaw we'd be fine in that area. Morin would and some enthusiasm and offensive. He won't turn the tide himself but he will help.

Handzus can be utilized on the PK, if he stays in the lineup put him on the 4th line.

Everyone knows the concussion history with Toews and every time I see the Blues and Hawks play Backes punches Toews in the head every chance he gets. Now Backes is going to be drunk for a while. Wonder if he is going to continue to do it. This league could f up a 2 car funeral. Neither Backes or Toews was hit from behind, the puck had left the scene, they both had their head down,(and by down I mean low as well as blind) and they both got destroyed. One hit is no problem and one is. They call a guy vulnerable because he has his head down. Guys should just skate with their head down all the time. The only way there can possible be consistency is if they just go no-check. Otherwise there is always going to be guys who love to dish it out and don't like to take it. And no matter what they should get softer material for shoulder and elbow pads. Immediately.
