You sound ridiculous. You're up 2 0 on the previous Stanley cup winners and you're more worried about attacking players like toews than trying to out this series on a stranglehold. I get you're pissed but really, take a step back from this thread and relax

I hope it doesn't go there but I suspect it will. Just will be lots of complaining about dirty play when the hawks are the ones who rang that bell.

And then he will be suspended.

Yeah and Kane won't be playing.

Are they the least penalized in the playoffs? If they aren't then try again.

The phrase when they play their game has become meaningless to me. If they play well x% of the time and play like shlt and blow leads the other x% of the time, then that IS their game. So they have the seed they're supposed to have, and they're down 2-zip in the series exactly the way they're supposed to be, unless or until they prove otherwise.

What concerns me - and this came up yesterday: last year (and in 2010), when disappointment hit late in regulation, they were always able to regroup and win in OT.

I'm thinking of Philadelphia tying it with 5 minutes left - and the Hawks winning in OT.

I'm thinking of the waived-off goal by Hjalmarsson wit 2 minutes left in game 7 - and they win it in OT.

I'm thinking of the LAK goal with 8 seconds left to tie - and they won it in OT.

You know - whatever happens, the Hawks just aren't going to lose - witness the 17 seconds

This year - 2 disappointing end-of-regulation events - but they couldn't regroup to get it done.

Do they still believe they will (or even can) win this series?

A lot of the talk right now sounds the similar to hawk fans after the orpik hit, the only thing (and seems to be a tradition with the refs) is that there was no call when toews got smoked (hmmm, and also like the Hosea hit)

And just watching the replay again, I still have no idea how anyone thinks its a dirty hit. Its unfortunate and you never want to see that happen to anyone, but it looked like Seabrook was finishing his hit and that Backes turned into him at the last second to follow the puck he had just played behind himself. Seebs didn't look like he left his feet, didn't raise his elbow... nothing. At first watch I thought that Backus never played the puck and that Seebs just hit him anyway, but he did play the puck. Someone should get a gif done up.

Just what I saw, hopefully Backes is okay.

If no one from Chicago gets suspended Kane, Sharp, and Toews are going to have serious bounties on their heads. Reaves is going to be taking massive runs at Kane all game.

And will you be cheering that kind of meathead hockey?

You're no hockey fan if you do.

Go watch it again. Backes didn't touch the puck. NHL today any sort of big hit to the head, expect a suspension. In the post game he even admitted that he didn't realize he didn't have the puck.

I really want to know what's going on with Toews - no offense, giveaways, lazy plays. Something isn't right.

Unfortunately, it looks like Kane can be caught after his injury: I do not see the kind of speed and cutting and movement as before.

He had that one-on-two with the puck and a slight lead on the two Blues at some point - before the injury he would have Justus it into second and blown past them - at least enough to get a shot off.

But they stayed with him and took the puck.

All of this posting - even if it may be largely gibberish - has made me feel better.

Not good, mind you.

But better.

Welcome to playoffs where the regular season doesn't mean squat unless you've missed the dance. Anyone, and I mean literally anyone who knows nothing about sports could tell you this.

He leaves the ice. That's pretty cut and dry. Backes never possess the puck. Not eligible to be finished with a check. They could have called interference had there been no headshot. Shouilder 's primary point of contact is the face. And that is not an example of putting himself in a position where seabrook can't help but hit him like that. Seabrook had all the time in the world to lay off. Classic suspendable hit.

Everyone realizes this....but stating the Hawks are not the least penalized team in the playoffs....after two games is kinda funny

16 wins or 4 losses in one series is the game.I texted my Habs friend from Wawa after the game and simply asked what he thought. He responded by saying that the refs where wearing Blues jerseys and WTF with the no too many men? The blues trolls can go F themselves while they slither back to their irrelevant board,if and when this goes 7 they will be absent.

Equally as funny isthinking that the fact that they were one of the most penalized in the regular season matters.

I said this after game 1...Toews &Kane don't look themselves. Is it rust, injury? Idk but the hawks aren't going to win a series if Toews, Sharp, & hossa don't score. 3 goals from defenseman should be a W. Crawford once again can't make the big saves to finish the game and that dang Russian tarasenko is killing the hawks right now. I fear Seabrook will get a game suspension which is very unfortunate BC he is playing as well as anyone in the indianhead so far. Down but not out. Take 2 at home and its anyone's series. Have faith boys

Thought this was only going 5 games. Well I guess it still could.
