I get that you don't want to accept that it was a bad hit. But everyone sees the hit except those that have on homer glasses that was not only a penalty, but should be a suspension.
- carcus

Kind like when Backes and Reeves lay out those hits and Blues fans call them clean hits. Let's face it, when those hits happen, the team with the hitter is going to say it's clean and the team with the hitter is going to say it was dirty. It is what it is.

Simple eye exam will allow you to see there is no difference.

I'm sure Backus will be back for the OT.......... Just like Sobotka too.
Bickell's attempt was to throw his shoulder into him, but Sobotka tried to avoid the hit and Bickell's knee was out there. Kind of a faker this Sobtka huh ???

Great, a guy from Pitt chirping in. And Orpik ... never mind.

I'm sure he defended Cooke as he ended careers too.

Guys that's a bad hit. Let's not try to rationalize it. Hopefully the boys pick him up and we get the W

carcus, I appreciate you as a poster. However, it's time you moved over to your own thread.

It was unfortunate. Can't believe no one laid out to block that last shot.
- philco28

And can't believe Crawford was so out of position - just cover the short side when the shooter is so far over to the boards.

But - again - Seabrook the ultimate bad play - and too much stupid by the whole team.

We all know Seabs isn't a dirty player. I've got no beef with the hit AT ALL.

You might need to get your eyes checked. For real.
- carcus

Pot meet kettle Carcus. Backes plays dirty and loves to line guys up like this. I'm not saying the hit was clean and Seabs needs to be smarter, but this is the kind of play you guys have been lauding all year.

If the play was reversed and it was Backes hitting Seabs all we'd hear from Blues fans is Seabs needs to keep his head up. You can tell me I'm wrong but somehow I don't think so.

Toews didn't have the puck when he was hit.

Questionable hit and you don't want to see guys get hurt (even Backus) who's usually on the other end off these situations. That said tell me that the Hawks are not on the receiving end of these things far to often. Do I have to mention Orpik or that other d-bag Raffi Torres so spare me all the pontificating about it. It happens he was penalized unlike the other two and it may cost the Hawks the game.

Toews controlled the puck before he was hit. Call it a late hit I'd you really want. Backes never had possession of the puck before he was hit. That is going to matter.

I am calm. I am not saying nasty things about individuals posting here. I can control myself, if others can't because I post, that is on them.
