Bollig's a good dude, nice story, but he's not an every night player.

Must be why he only played in all 82 games

I'm sure he is Phil, but if you don't have faith in a guy to play more than a couple of minutes in a game, then why have him in the lineup at all, especially in the playoffs. All you end up doing is shortening your own bench and putting too many minutes on other guys to make up for the minutes you don't trust Bollig to play. What does it say when you give the guy a 3 year / million per contract, but don't want him on the ice in a playoff game.

"SHIRT" has to be the replacement for "first" in every thread from here on out.

I'm sure he is Phil, but if you don't have faith in a guy to play more than a couple of minutes in a game, then why have him in the lineup at all, especially in the playoffs. All you end up doing is shortening your own bench and putting two many minutes on other guys to make up for the minutes you don't trust Bollig to play. What does it say when you give the guy a 3 year / million per contract, but don't want him on the ice in a playoff game.

On the bright side, Bollig just neutralized Ott... Trade off benefits the Hawks IMO.

Certainly hope there's a chance or two in the the lineup for game 3.

Meh, in the grand scheme of things both are irrelevant. If he had nullified Backes or Jackarse that would've been a great tradeoff.

I can't argue with that. If the Hawks had a power play I might find myself a little more excited about the opportunity, but I haven't seen anything in two games and about 9 or 10 Power Plays to get my hopes up.

Hawks have in no way deserved to be in this one. One shot away because of Crawford and a stellar PK in the second. It's time the boys put together their best 20 of the playoffs and go back home with all the momentum in the series. It was a deflating loss on Thursday............ Imagine how deflating it will be to the Blues if the Hawks pull it out and get a split
- reeder16

Good post. This is exactly where it is. The most important period, potentially, of the entire series is about to start NOW.

The Hawks will either return home in the driver's seat with all the momentum, or go home in a World of Shirt, and the season is likely over...

Cliche, but it's "do or die time". It really is.

Totally agree RG. Bollig played 5 playoff games last year and the one time we saw him vs Boston, he cost us game 2 with a terrible touch. Not sold on him, as a playoff trusted player, yet.

I'm glad I could help.

For future reference, you might want to go down to your local library and check out this helpful book:

It will help you to learn how to troll like a pro.

While you're there, you might want to ask someone to read it to you. Given the lack of understanding that you have using your words, I fear that your reading comprehension isn't up to snuff.

2nd unit set it up...but it was just a perimeter p*ssy passing. Put Bickell on the unit so he'll sit in front of the net...Saad isn't doing it.

Isn't it supposed to be pucks and players to the net?

What if you have neither for most of a PP?
