Like I said before this series started, the Blackhawks are their own worst enemy. Crawford is the only one to show up. I believe the boys can come back....but will they is a different story.
- DarthKane

Agree. If the outcome ends up with another Blues win, maybe just maybe we could dee Regin and Morin. Sit Zus and Jezus (Saad).

Put Regin and Morin out there. They might not help a lot but it will be nice to see players out there that care for a change.

It's too late for that. Have to wait until game 3.

I'm not here to brag, and I was very complimentary of your top players performance last game. However, I couldn't help but be drawn to this thread due to Ogie and a few others nice comments in the previous thread.

I think the Hawks will storm back in period 2 and this is far from over, so I'm remaining humble. However, JJ's two posts look to be completely off the wall at this point - as that first game is looking far from a draw when you take in what just happened in that first period.

If the Blues power play can get going, this game could get ugly.

That second goal is beyond inexcusable by Crawford.
- rollpards19

It's inexcusable by the whole team, including Crawford.

Safe to say the hitting team is beating the speed team for two games now.

Crawford seriously has to make 3 ridiculous saves in one sequence? Where's the (frank)ing defense.
- CBHawks88

This. Crow is way, way down on the list of players to point fingers at.

This could well be the last playoff series involving the Hawks this year, and if this becomes true, I will always wonder what might have been Regin and Morin hadn't been in civvies, but had been playing a 3rd line with Bicks instead.

@Blackhawks is saying no line up changes.

I'd have Regin and Morin in this game.

Take out Zus , lose one of the defenseman.

Regin and Morin would for sure be net front presence.

Damn.

- mrpaulish

tell me if I am wrong: Zues out, Regin in, Fricken Leddy & "Scared" Saad out, Morin & , you won't like this 1 & you don't have to be an elite skater against these guys, but Brookbank would be in: at least for this series! Q is fricken stubborn!

Is the team still at the hotel because obviously they didn't show up for the game...
phuckin pathetic.

3 PPs and zilch. How bout Sharp running into Keith brilliant. Felt bad for Crawford that was garbage defense at the end of the period. By the way wasn't that Zeus' man that got free on that play at the end...

Disgraceful.

So much for a bounce-back, 60-minute effort.

Will the Hawks EVER put in a full-game effort? Seems more and more unlikely each passing frame...

- prd797

My guess: you will see an awesome effort 2nd period from the Blackhawks but the net result will be ZILCH. Prediction for today: SHUTOUT.

No heart.
No response.
No answer from Q.
Not 1 shot from anywhere near the blue paint for the Hawks.

Wonder, if they do go 4 and out (which right now seems VERY likely) -- who loses their job? Does Kompon or Kitchen finally take the fall? Which phucking idiot of the 3 blind mice put Sharp with Keith on the point time-after-time to see it produce NOTHING? That mess at the blue line with the resulting breakaway was a thing of beauty.

Time to get Morin and Regin (and maybe Nordstrom) some NHL playoff ice time. This team isn't going anywhere but the golf course -- and soon.

If I'm not mistaken, every single player in the lineup has won at least one Cup.

Besides Crawford there has been minimal intensity, interest...being 'satisfied' should not be enough. Put the guys who haven't actually won anything (Regin, Morin) in the lineup and get that playoff energy and desire that, so far in this young series, this team has been lacking.

I see Q has the team really ready to play today.

My prediction -- keep it up like this and not only won't they get past the Blues, they may set a record for 4 and out.

Absolutely pathetic -- not a single shot or attempt from in front -- while Crawford gives up an awful goal.

Q is doing a masterful job today, don't you think?

- savvyone-1

We don't have the depth to dominate despite his hairbrained poop, just like we didn't in 11 & 12. Babcock shuts out the Bruins with far less of a team. Q, we don't ask for coaching wins from you -- just stop setting us up to lose, you overrated phuck.

No goals in 120 minutes now: anyone still want to talk about the 2nd most goals in the league?

Are you serious?

How bout Zues doing a fine job skating circles around the net. Win a puck battle....engage someone.

Blues physicality has rocked the Hawks' mentally. Passing is terrible. Everyone's hearing footsteps. No poise with the puck. Next to zero confidence. Just phucking awful.

We have enough goals, that is why you play Zues for more defense. This is what I heard all year.
