Two things...don't care who buys the Isles,,,they will be 100 times better than the Charles/Snow/Jack circus. Secondly, they should stay here...Long Island and/or Brooklyn

my only worry with this situation is that the isles get sold to a group of investors without the cash to increase the payroll or pay an NHL head coach and GM.

I'd much rather the team be sold to one person who has deep deep pockets and will hand off hockey operations to a qualified GM.

If this franchise sheds a crazy owner only to pick up another stiff with no funds, we're still screwed.

We need stability and a new face in charge to change perception of the franchise so we can actually start pursuing and signing ufa's. This organization has been a sh!t show for so long that it's going to take a clean slate and proven executives to turn this around. The young talent is right on the edge of making a difference, a new coach and new gm working for a new owner with deep pockets would finally get us to the next level, provided it's the right owner, and the right hires.

1. I agree
2. They are staying in NY

any owner who buys this franchise would be an idiot to try and move them out of a new building and lose that tv contract.

I'm not really worried about that. I don't care if 1 person owns the team or 40 people own the team just get that crazy fack out of here.

Wrong. Bringing back Cappy is enough evidence to dispel any notion that Garth is or could be a good GM. If he had more money he may be able to disguise his incompetence better by throwing stupid money at big name players. That would lead to a different set to problems but he still wouldn't be a good GM.

Money solves a lot of problems.

And if Wang is selling... no reason to make any changes, it would just cost him more money.

Maybe that is why a new GM and new coach are not coming any time soon.

Why would Wang want to sign a new GM, or coach for a 3 year term then be on the hook for the contract.

And really who would take the job knowing they could be fired within a year.
