For some reason I just remembered when my roommate texted me while I was in a college class and said the isles traded for bergeron and I shot up out of my chair and ran outa the room to go use a computer (no smart phones in 07'). Freakin marc-andre. Was so disappointed.

The problem is Wang.... no money, no players.

Sure Snow has made a few mistakes... made a few good pickups too.

It seems everything is @ a standstill until the team is sold.

So next year will be the same roster... just a veteran goalie added.

Unless Nabby comes back again.

Then no changes.

I don't understand why some people have a hard time with the point I just made that you responded too? Yeah, I get it. Snow is on a budget. But when you do have money to spend albeit a small amount and you spend it on players that are more of a detriment it's no longer the cheap owners fault. Why do people not get this? It's facking common sense!!!!

good in spurts...bad in spurts...sound familar??

Exactly. Same old. More good than what we saw IMO but still the same player . Ridiculously bad contract that I'm happy we are not connected too. Good on snow I'll give credit where it's due.

Him and Streit have looked very good imo.
- mighty13duck

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration . He scored the first goal the other night than was directly responsible for two of the four opposing goals. If that's good in your book than maybe we should have signed him Bcs he was doing the same shat with us.

It's like many of us of said Cpt, many GM's in other sports have managed with a small payroll. Those GM's make sure to make solid player and coaching decisions.

Like who???

What sport???

Nobody thinks Garth is a great GM.

If he had more money... then he would be a better GM.

F@cking Common Sense... not sure why so many people don't get it.

Garth is not going anywhere until Wang sells!!!

when put in the right spot... they will succeed.

Wang won't spend the money to ice an NHL team... so we get AMac playing top minutes.

Streit, AMac, Schenn all played well.

Billy Beane and David Poile to name a few. No question Garth has a very hard job. Garth has also not made things easier with the moves he has made.

Wrong. Bringing back Cappy is enough evidence to dispel any notion that Garth is or could be a good GM. If he had more money he may be able to disguise his incompetence better by throwing stupid money at big name players. That would lead to a different set to problems but he still wouldn't be a good GM.

Letting PA walk for nothing was another example. Trading for Vanek and then letting the season fall apart without making further moves another. We can go all day with examples.

Fingers crossed.

"One former player specifically has agreed to take a job within the organization." My bet is that former player is LaFontaine.

Even if it goes through in time for them to get a new coach for next season it will be a win.

Two things...don't care who buys the Isles,,,they will be 100 times better than the Charles/Snow/Jack circus. Secondly, they should stay here...Long Island and/or Brooklyn

because we need someone to cover the phones for a week? Lafontaine's already bailed on two franchises because he's a whining child, no thanks.
