Reading all these post must be what it would feel like to be in group therapy. And for all the, "where are the bruins fans?"
What would you like us to say?
Should we all start routing for another team? Demand a Lucic trade?

Lucic is a big baby and acts like a fricken little b I tch sometimes. Especially when he isn't having his way on the ice. This is his showing why he is never going to be an Iggy. He doesn't have the work ethic and will.

He can change a game but it's at an inconsistent clip.

What he did was bush league, I HATE when any player does something like this especially a bruin. Why, because all we hear non stop is how much the bruins get away with everything.

Lucic spearing a guy in the balls IS NOT REFLECTIVE OF 99% of the team. In fact Lucic is a punk and it's common for him to do this kinda crap.
Marchand is a little s h it and does things the way he does USUALLY to get under players skin, not to injury. (I'm aware of the slew foot or ducking as in his past, but he has gotten better this year.)

The idea of you can't go after another team after a LEGAL hit is stupid to me as well. If not trying to fight a player then, then when is fighting ever a good idea? Only staged? For a motivation bump between goons?
The Great One had a body guard on his line for this one reason.

Some one should have slap the crap out of orpik after the Teows hit, IMO.
It's why something like 95% of players want fighting in the game still.

Legal star hunting hits should be a cause for concern and if you want to throw your body, then you should MAN UP, that's right I said it, or fear for retribution.

But, here we are, non stop complaining and whining from every ilke of hockey fandom.

I as one bruins fan, am very very sorry tap out what Lucic did.
Now, I hope we can all just put this past us, water under the bridge.

Getting rid of fighting would be a damn shame... I also don't like the automatic instigator penalty if you defend one of your players with a fight... If two players drop the gloves and go at it; give a five each and its done... Having said that not everyone wants to fight and some players getting jumped after a clean hit isn't doing any good either...

It's a tough situation to regulate forsure... Fighting shouldn't be about killing the other person though, some fighters today throw punches like it was fightclub, prove your point but don't kill the guy

As a Wings fan, I don't think it's grasping. When it happened my first thought was the Wings can't lose DeKeyser like they did Lidstrom. The Wings have already experienced losing their #1 dman in Lidstrom for a spear in the groin. IIRC, Lidstrom was having surgery on his testicles during game 5 of that Hawks series.

As for precedent- I know Sharp got nothing for the above incident. So for Lucic to get a fine, I guess now there is one....not much of one, but something at least

So you value Ron's opinion more than an NHLers? Having players on these panels gives you insight to what teams really think and feel. If you ever played sports, what players say makes a lot more sense than a glorified referee like maclean.
