True, for everyone else that wins a Championship, it's that much sweeter to do it without the best player in the World. Pretty sure Calgary and Montreal felt that way when they won the cups that Wayne and company didn't.

Ya I know I was just messing with you. I agree with you that it doesn't merit something along the lines of a head shot but it should definitely be more severe than Perry's or Lucic's pocket change... If these guys wanna piss people then attack the back of the legs or give extra shots after the whistle or even better a big hit... Shots to the bag can't happen... Especially if Quenneville can't even grab his own hahaha

super skilled player who plays with an edge, sometimes even a bit dirty. About as passionate for the game and to win as possible (I'll say some mean things about flyer fans, but you can't deny they are passionate)

Marchand is a little s h it and does things the way he does USUALLY to get under players skin, not to injury. (I'm aware of the slew foot or ducking as in his past, but he has gotten better this year.)

The idea of you can't go after another team after a LEGAL hit is stupid to me as well. If not trying to fight a player then, then when is fighting ever a good idea? Only staged? For a motivation bump between goons?
