Another thing is the totally INEPT officials that can miss something like that with all those eyes, they should be banned from further games. That should have been a 5 minute major, and match penalty!

This is what keeps happening with the new sissified NHL. Head injuries way up and cowards like Lucic trying to scramble a guy's eggs from BEHIND!

Everyone saying that the Wings should retaliate and do the same to Bergeron et. al. need to remember that the second that happens, Chara, Thornton, and Lucic would be assaulting everyone. You can't get into a cheap shot battle you have zero shot of winning. I look forward to Chara's retirement so we can see how tough Lucic and Marchand really are without the genetic freak standing in the way.

I think it's a 1 game suspension, if he had been hurt or missed shifts maybe 2+. Even a fine and no suspension would be fine (that's what Legwand got), but do SOMETHING!

The problem is I'm already feeling like nothing is going to happen at all. I watched ESPN and NHL network all day and no one even touches this subject at all, no one but fans are even acknowledging this it feels like.

Both should get a game. Milan Lucic is scum. The Bruins play such great hockey but they are so embarrassing to hockey, Boston, the NHL at the same time. I hate how they take the I can hit and punch anyone I want, but you can't touch me approach. Its not tough, its like an 11 year old on the playground. Fighting after clean hits does not make hockey look tough, it makes hockey players look like babies. Sticking someone in the nuts after a play certainly isn't tough. So much for the big bad Bruins.

FYI, Corey Perry did the same thing last night as well. He did get a minor for it though, which probably would be a major in the regular season.

Perry has a history of classy moves like this. In the 2011 playoffs vs. Nashville, Perry scrambled Pekka Rinne's eggs at the end of the period ... and got nothing for it. No penalty, no suspension ... lucky the referee separated Shea Weber from him though. You don't want to mess with Angry Shea.
