Basically, he retaliated to a perfectly legal hit by literally poking the guy in the nuts while skating in the guy's back. To me, that's the exact definition of what a yellow player is.

The NHL needs to send a clear message here. You can clearly hear him deny the whole thing in his presser and he actually does the same thing less than a month later. That's disgusting.

Of course it is worthy of a suspension.....deliberate attempt to injure. There is already a rule for it and has been for decades. He is a repeat offender as well, even though he only got a slap on the wrist previously. This is an opportunity for Shanahan's replacement Stephane Quintal to show he has the "balls" for the job. However, the league is afraid to do anything to the Baby Bears and Jacobs.
