Highlight of my night was meeting Gilles Tremblay and holding his Stanley Cup ring. The game itself, not so much. - norbs

Save percentage aside, I thought your goalie looked out of his element and not very confident in game one. Game two though I thought he was much more poised. Certainly not his fault for the loss in either game, but even less so in this one.
Bourque certainly is an enigma. The guy is gifted with a powerful frame, speed to burn and soft hands, yet rarely puts through the effort to match. He is looking so much better this post season. The big irony for him is that if Galchenyuk wasn't hurt, Bourque would likely be sitting. I think for the first time in his life he's realizing the opportunity and running with it. Now to see if he can continue the rest of the post season. |

Gilles won 4 Cups with Habs in 60's QP. Was also on La soiree du Hockey for almost 30 years as a broadcaster. |

Also, anyone else think Lucic should see some form of repercussion from his behind the back nut shots? What a coward - SmielmaN
He plays for Boston therefore he's infallible. |

Michael Stuart: Lightning vs. Canadiens: Game Two Recap - Michael_Stuart
Sadly, for the Canes in 2006 they had a red hot Cam Ward in goal to steal games for them. Without Bishop, the Bolts just don't have that and without a goalie who can steal a game or 2, they aren't beating the Habs in 4 of the next 5. |

Good luck with that.
If TB was healthy, such a task would be realistic (though likely unnecessary--a split of the first two games would likely have been the case), but with their depleted line-up? Can't see it happening. Not saying it'll be a sweep, but I wouldn't bet more than pocket change on TB tying the series at 2-2. |

$5K fine for Lucic? What a joke. - Michael_Stuart
At least he will be watched very closely and Boston will prob see their PP time dry up for a game or two, depending on the refs. I'm sure they don't like being reminded of how they let him get away with this twice now, meanwhile Perry gets called for "slashing" because a spear is a game misc.
You know what though, at least the league did something instead of letting it go. If I'm a grinder on the Wings I'm looking for donations in the locker room for when I would be breaking Marchand or Iginla's fruit baskets. Imagine Iggy getting his grapes crushed because of Lucic? That would create some locker room tension I would think. |

Here is my two cents on the Lightning's playoff performance thus far, take it for what it's worth (it isn't worth much, nobody in the right mind takes me seriously!). What I see on the ice is a battered, bruised and broken collection of players that had to work extra hard through the regular season because of the injury to Stamkos. We have many rookies and other guys are only in their second year of the NHL, we are missing our number one goaltender in Ben Bishop and have had to replace them with a struggling goaltender in Anders Lindback. John Cooper is a great coach, but this is a new experience for him coaching in the NHL playoffs and I don't think he realize how truly difficult it is to adjust quickly in game. He has done a tremendous job keeping this leaky ship together with all the problems that we've had, from the injuries, to the Ryan Malone and Martin St. Louis bullpoop!
The lightning were not prepared to play in the playoffs, perhaps after having a couple games under their belt they are, but Montreal was so much more ready than we were.
Win or lose this series the Tampa Bay Lightning need to hold their heads high for what they've accomplished, as a fan I am extremely proud of what they have done! |

We have holes that need to be addressed in the off season! We need a number 2 defenseman that can play on the right side with hedman. Let me ask you guys this would you guys rather pay Callahan 6 million ? Or Matt niskanen 5.5 to 6 million per season ?

Callahan isn't doing his value any favors right now. |
