Sorry all! That was my fault. Just doing a bit of housecleaning and hit the wrong button. No harm, no foul, right?

I'll have to figure out who is deleting posts. Or are people deleting their own?

I definitely did not delete my own or anyone else's posts.

Too bad because I had some very specific negative and nitpicky things to point out and share with hockeybuzz regarding last nights game.

My money is on Raptor Jesus. The Flyers made him very sad last night.

I think Berube may have to resort to double shifting Jake Voracek some during 5v5 play. He is the one forward capable of transitioning the puck up the ice with speed, which they were sorely lacking. Well, maybe not the only one but he does it the best.

Raffl is capable too, but he was fighting the first playoff game nerves last night. I think he will settle down and play better Sunday.

Having Mase back also helps the puck transition.
It's a big deal against the NYRs having his puck moving skills.

I really love that about Raffl. He might have the goal luck of Pyorala but is great at carrying the puck up the ice.

I'd roll with the following for the first 8 shifts of Sunday's game, hopefully it can get the Rangers off of their game:

Hartnell-G-Voracek
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Schenn-VL-Voracek
Hartnell-G-Akeson
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Schenn-VL-Rinaldo
Hartnell-G-Voracek
Read-Couturier-Simmonds

Thoughts?

I'm not against Hexy getting the job here, but I have other guys I'd consider first. Guys like Joe Will, Norm Maciver & Paul Fenton.

I think Berube needs to mix the lines to get Jake and G out there more minutes and to try and get them some shifts away from McD/Girardi.

I like this.

I'm totally in favor of double-shifting guys from time to time; the Flyers have a team with some younger forwards. Part of coaching is popping a guy out there when it is to your advantage, and I'm hopeful that Berube views that the same way you do.
