Edmonton would make out like bandits there. A point per game #1 center in the top 10 in the league in faceoffs. Are first round pick and another former first round pick, plus a top 4 defencemen. I think we get robbed on that deal

I traded Spezza for whatever and flipped those assets or what it took to get Edler.
Traded Greening for McLeod.
Traded Cowen for Grabner.
Picked up Callahan from Detroit since they probably will stupidly put him on waivers next season.

Trades are not specific or straight up deals but it is what it is...just for fun.

ottawa would be getting an 18 year old, nhl ready dman, with top pairing potential....who looks like he could play with karlsson

and a 23 year old, almost PPG winger

you realize he can't crack the top six in florida, and is currently in the AHL.

he would EASILY be twice as bad as any dman on our roster. i actually think he was behind matt gilroy on florida's depth chart

Well worse case scenario we put Phillips in, which I'm pretty sure they will anyways. They took a crack at Corvo. It's not out of the realm of possibility that EM would cocnvince BM to "take a crack" at another declining defenseman just to say he's "bringing in talent."
