well it depends what a coach wants from his 4th line. if he wants a crash-and-bang/energy/fighting presence, Weise is definitely not the guy. if he wants a fast/forechecking presence, Weise can fill that role decently. he can wheel.

Agreed... just hate when people start tooting some guys horn for scoring ONE goal. He is an average 4th liner, great speed. He is not a messiah.

Maybe now Weise can join the TSN panel and be Torts boss when Torts get fired. Circle of life.

I don't care about him, I do not know him on any level. He didn't play here very long and most fans will forget he was even a Canuck in a few years. No lasting memory, and I'm not a habs fan. Therefore I could care less about anything he does or doesn't do moving forward.

Maybe thats just me!

Toerts will probably stay in Van for at least one more full season.Probably 2. He's an okay coach that will only get better with this team.

DCT How about Luke Richardson as getting a shot at HC. He is fairly offensive minded put a good defensive assistant might be worth a shot. I still like Gulutzan but Richardson might be worth a look.

By okay do you mean he's awful if your trying to win but he's excellent if you want to tank and thus averages out to "okay"?

I haven't tried that one but did try the other 2 - Apple Pie and the one infused with cherries. They were both tasty.

The Apple Pie one was almost too tasty - I drank about half the bottle before I realized what was going on and then...

Wow, guy wins the game and no one should pump his tires. Just say you hate the Habs and we will say "ok, cool."

Weise has been very good for his role on the fourth line with the Habs. If not for getting dirted by the B's (shocker) he may have had another goal in the rest of this season. I hope we resign this guy for 4 th line/PK duty. Won't cost over 1 mill.

Why do you have a raging boner for Torts? He was an unmitigated disaster.

I don't hate the habs, just don't get all attached to this 4th line plug.

Not exactly a 'rager' but I liked the Rangers and thought he did a good job there for a few years, especially when the Blueline was young. I just think the transition was tough for the players. Give it another year. It's not like he's Cory Clouston or something .

Wait until the honeymoon feeling of him scoring an OT goal in the playoffs wears off and you have watched him for a full season.

He is a servicable 4th liner that was misused here in Vancouver. Still doesn't give him the right to sound like he's Brett Hull in the post game interview. It was a lucky shot; watch the replay... it's hits the logo like 99% of his other shots do. This one just happened to sneak through a back up goaltender!

Just read up on the Apple Pie one, sounds delicious.

Ian MacIntyre is reporting nothing new on Torts and that Hextall in the mix as GM.

Oh, the irony of a goaltender potentially becoming our next GM after all the drama we've had the last couple of years
