Maybe he's Don Cherry. I don't mind Corsi and such though I haven't learnt enough about it. I don't completely dismiss it though and find it interesting and it can be useful to HELP determine certain things, can't rely completely on it.

But there is more than just corsi to advanced stats. That is one of dozens. There is all kinds of useful information to be had out there. None of it taken as a "truth" on its own but when you look at a bunch of it all together is extremely useful. Corsi, Fenwick, zone starts, shooting%, WOWY, On ice sv%, quality of competition and on and on. Tons of great info.

Absolutely. Wrong guy with the puck. The goals for would have tripled allowing for wins. Gardiner with the puck means real point producers without. I know you struggle with that. It's the affect overall. But hey Corsi says that you can't use that.
