Like, inconsistent in Junior. Makes poor decisions as often as good ones, doesn't utilize his size as effectively as he could, defensive lapses.

If you're going to pick an offensive player because he's big, take Perlini. Much more consistent playing on a bad team, and you have his linemate in Verhaeghe. Better defensive play, utilizes size at least marginally better. Elhers is still my preferred pick coming in, has steal of the first round written all over him.

Perlini disappeared at the end of the year. 18 points in 23 games in January, February and March.

I'm not surprised but you said Perlini is more consistent when he wasn't really. Perlini had one really good month where he scored 24 points in 11 games otherwise his season wasn't to great.
