Finally just saw video of that OT goal for the Blues. (I admittedly fell asleep sometime in period 4)

That was electric. Love watching games in that building and it seemed like a fun place to be for game 1.

Steen was always a very good Leaf could play the 200' game needed to win. But to get rid of Colaiacovo it was worth it.

Don't get me wrong it was a bad trade because Steen could play, although a ton on this exact board wanted him gone, but Leaf nation thought Colaiacovo was god. He had zero hockey sense at all.

You could see the talent at 23 he played a winning style. You need a bunch of Steens to win and it isn't his offence that makes him a good player.
