Hell yeah! WEnt out to dinner with my mom dad, GF and her mom... Missed the first period and a half, came back and the end of the 2nd was rough and then it was great to see them light it up in the Third. We were all cheering!

The only thing he has done these last two games was get away with a dirty slash on McDonagh.

I think because the way the Flyers have played Pitt, with success, they think it will also work against the Rangers. As much as I think there were sometimes where the Rangers should have stuck up for each other, I'm thrilled they don't let the chippy stuff bother them at all.

The Rangers struggling on the PP recently enables them to attempt to take more liberties. The Rangers responded brilliantly by scoring on the power play. That is the BEST way to respond to a team that thinks it can intimidate. It's one game, but I've been saying all along the Flyers being this big bad bully team is overstated. Especially on home ice they know how to shut Giroux down. Do they have a plan B? We will find out as they adjust for game 2

Agreed. I think the Rangers were the more physical team in this game.

That puck movement was missing since the break, it was something special

I ended up watching the game with Out of all the people in the world Chico Resch, he walks in after it was 1-1 and says it would be better if it were 2-1 Philly but I ended up having a nice conversation with him after the game, told him how his jersey was the 1st I ever had, he told me a great story about how when he played for the Flyers at the garden he witnessed two dumb Flyers fans running around the old concourse with a Rangers sucks banner and getting pummeled by 20 fans

I agree. The Penguins are as undisciplined as the Flyers are. The one thing the Rangers have been in recent years is disciplined.

Watched with 2 of my buddies in my basement. Pretty sure the whole neighborhood knew when we scored.

so intangibles include marty st louis going to the cup...yet the guy who captained that team is on the flyers...interesting.

Hey, I got home real late from the game last night....you know, the one that Richards had a goal and two assists in....and I did not go to Hockey Buzz till early this morning.

If my memory serves me correctly, and I am sure it does, Vinny was the captain the of the Lightning until no other than their new coach John Torterella stripped him of it because, at the time, he was not behaving like a captain in the team scheme of things. Interesting.

The gentleman Rangerdanger was quite right in pointing out that Dave Andreychuk captained the Lightning to the Cup.

Nice try, though. Remember, you need to be a little more on your game to play with the big boys.
