If the series is split, after these first two games, it will be a harder series to win than I originally thought. Clearly, I don't think the Rangers are going to lose either of these first two games.

Giroux was snubbed. The leagues top three scorers are Canadian, two made the Olympic team,one did not. What would you call it? Actually Snider wasn't crying he was actually glad. His words were " I hate the Olympics, if they were in Philadelphia I would not want players participating"

Nah, I think the Rangers win this series solely based on merit.

you are just the second blogger ive seen giving intagibles/leadership edge to the rangers and one of the main reasons is marty st louis, yet neither blogger mentioned vinny. just kinda seems like contorting stats to make them say whatever you want them to. i have no problem if you want to say the rangers have better intangibles but dont use marty and completely leave out vinny from the other side.

I was highlighting that the Rangers added St Louis to a team that already had lots of playoff experience. Philly did the same with Vinny but he started the year with the squad. If you have read me before or read me during the series, you will see I don't contort stats to prove a point, use them to elucidate or better explain one, rather than shoehorn them in. Understand your point, but explaining why I used St Louis here.

Getting close to game time, love the growing hostility in here, it's playoff time!

Just suggesting that it may be time for the combatants to return to their own corners? Don't really want anyone missing the playoff discussion. But things do tend to get heated (and the less in control of themselves tend to show up) at game time.

The flyers know they cant beat us unless they goon it up.
