I always knew Tomas Vanek was a good player but I never really knew he was that good.
guy creates something every single time he touches the puck.

Subban gets on my nerves. He's looking for that butt check too much and creates space and turnovers for the other team.
I don't know what's going on in his head, if it's his contract status or anything...but he's not playing his best hockey right now...far from it. - stinger67
I thought he was better last night. |

It's really unsettling having such a good player in the lineup. He's like a Pacioretty-Desharnais hybrid. |

A player with Weaver's experience is expected to know when to pinch or not.
He had 0 chances of getting to the puck first, he sould have picked that up. - Fredobbface
yep. Engels can blame Gallagher all he wants but when Gallagher covers for Weaver there, he's a backup, not a safety net. with Stamkos and Killorn on the ice, up by one with 7 mins left, he should have been in full retreat |

I guess you both missed this part:
Regardless, if you're going to make that pinch at that stage of the game, you have to win it. You can't risk a 2-on-2 situation, with one of your forwards having to play the role of a defenseman. |

If Price is out of position Gorges has to cover for him and save the puck with his face. |

yes he is one of those players that actually makes a team better. i thought that line started slow but they were just dominant in the second half of the game, and they did a great job of creating momentum for the waves of forward who came on after them. |

ya Vanek and Pacioretty looked sluggish in the 1st. Desharnais did a great job of getting them into it. |
