bro u gotta chill, we got a long series ahead of us and you're gonna have a stroke.

There are 5 pages of defending Price that says it's Habs fans that need to chill. I make a few posts saying go elsewhere and I'm the one who needs to chill? Somehow those numbers don't add up

He's just joking around with you. It's a form of endearment.

I agree with that. There is a positive and a negative way to judge the game for both sides.

But what i am really confidetn about, is that game is'nt really representative of the way the rest of the series will be played.

Agreed. For as much speed as each team has this should turn into a tighter checking series. The Bolts got caught up in the moment, yet it wasn't the rookies (as expected) making the mistakes. It was Hedman's ill-timed pinch leading to the shorty, Brewer getting beat down the slot, etc etc etc. The only "rookie" mistake I can truly remember was Paquette leaving Weise alone for the winner. Price will be better for the Habs, and I expect the Bolts to calm down a bit and play a disciplined game as well.

Funny watching people defend Price. I am a huge Price supporter and feel he gets a bad rap for playoffs; nevertheless, last night he was horrible and he needs to get his head into the game fast or its going to be a short run.

That said, I think both teams will settle in more for the next game and defense will shape up better. Price will look stronger for this and other reasons, but he is going to need to channel some serious Calder cup mojo for a real chance at both making out of this round and further into the playoffs.

This thread is ridiculous, I couldn't even get past page 2. Habs fans, go talk in your own thread. Michael gave you all plenty of credit for a well-played game while the Bolts had a learning experience type of game. They played like the young team they are, so now we move on to game 2. Oh, and in case it got missed, Habs fans go talk in your own thread

It has nothing to do with rival posters. It is the incessant bullpoop talk about "playoff Price" or whatever was said that you guys felt you needed to defend over and over again. There was plenty of credit given to the Habs, and deservedly so. They played a damn good game while the Bolts lost focus way too many times as a young team could be somewhat expected to.

I can handle talking to anyone from any team as long as the talk is constructive. What was happening in this thread was not constructive. It was Habs fans getting butthurt and defending what didn't need to be defended.

Not really comparable in my opinion; team Canada in front of Price vs an average team in front of him. Olympics were good for his confidence on a big stage, but don't speak as much about his true presence, or as devil's advocate, lack-there-of.

so he was healthy enough to play last night or is this one of those injuries that just need that extra 24 hours to heal?

I don't believe he will be ready for game 2, its the playoffs , injuries are kept pretty low key. He didn't participate in practice, he was just out catching tossed pucks before-hand. I think he is still injured.

or is "ouais" and "oui" two different official words with the same meaning
