or.. the pesticides that their food was covered in kept them from growing

I think we're the largest humans have been.

You look at old buildings, the ceilings are always lower... going back before the widespread use of pesticides

Me wonders if announcing your heritage has anything to do with ongoing conflicts overseas? Me also wonders why there isn't any good known Ukrainian hockey players?? Seems odd considering Slovenia, Austria, Denmark, and the Swiss are all producing NHL calibre players.

You know what is funny? You would think you are saving money but buying fresh food and making your own meals is much more expensive, lol.

edit: hockey talk, Ritchie or Ehlers?

- LeafMan

Ritchie is a beast but if he's not there Ehlers or Virtanan

If Russia wanted good hockey players, they'd invade us lol

Also I think Alex Ponikarovsky (former leaf) is Ukrainian.

I wanted Perlini earlier but have lost interest in him he tailed off at the end of the year and had a lot of pp points I think as well, still would be an alright pick but id rather one of the other 3 mentioned.

Well, some stuff you can buy frozen, and it's fresher and cheaper that way... and doesn't go bad as fast.

It also depends where you buy your stuff, and how crazy your meals are

Asian supermarkets are nice and cheap when it comes to meat... but you're probably best eating it same day.

If Nylander is there, he could be hard to pass up. Ritchie is just something the Leafs really need up front, but they say he can be a bit inconsistent - which could be due to age. I can't imagine how freakin big that kid is going to be when all said and done.

8) Toronto Maple Leafs — William Nylander, C, MODO (SHL) Toronto’s eternal search for a No. 1 center should continue with the selection of Nylander, the son of a former NHLer. He has fantastic hands and tremendous play-making ability, and he’s responsible in his own zone. His offensive awareness and speed are breathtaking, and are reasons why he’s one of the most exciting players in this class. Nylander already has proven he can score goals and excel on the power play against professional opponents in Sweden, and he’d only need one more season of development before being ready for the NHL.

guys, a combo at McDs is like $10 when all's said and done.

You can buy enough food to feed 2 people 2 dinners for $20, or $5 per meal.

Ehlers has that skill that teases you but that PF type has been eluding the Leafs for a while now, Ritchie and Virtanan is in that mold.

edit, as was mentioned above, some people have the Leafs getting Nylander, I don't know about that one.

he's got more boom/bust factor though, no?

Didn't he disappear down the stretch? I don't think we need any more of that .

But yea, I think if you're willing to take a bit of a risk, he could give you the greatest reward where the Leafs are picking.

If you go to some really old houses you will see cut out holes in the ceiling for the upstairs, it was their central heating back in the day, lol.
