Journalists in Finland are speculating that Armia doesnt like playing in the AHL, is homesick, believes he should transfer to Buffalo (lol @ their translation) and that if he doesnt get some time in Buffalo, hes probably going back to Finland...
- theblueandgold

It sounds to me like someone needs to man up. I'm sure it's tough for some of these guys to come and assimilate themselves, but he's got to give it time too. He's barely even been here a year and spent part of that year on the bench in the NHL press box because of an injury in training camp. IMO, they're doing him a favor by having him in Rochester. At least they're gonna make the playoffs.

“Buying him(Leino) out is a possibility. Buying him out is a tool we can use to improve our team.’ Murray said. “It’s a very good possibility. It’s not 100 percent, but it’s a very good possibility that’s one of our buyouts.”

Murray should be fired immediately.

He's probably being a professional and wants to have a discussion with Leino about it first. How would you like to hear that you're losing your job over the radio when the rest of the city finds out?

yes, because all real estate purchases are public record. But most people don't know that or where to go. Plus you have to pay for the information a lot of the time. It depends on where the purchase was made.

In Erie County it is all free on their website.

Just takes some searching to find it.

Remember I was a bill collector contracted out to collect NFG bills in the area. Was a useful tool to force scumbag landlords to pay up.

IMO, this is a bunch of crap to him though. he wants to be in the NHL not the AHL. I would say most players dont give a damn about the AHL playoffs or not.

That's why I didn't say always. I said a lot of the time. I deal with these type of things at work. It's how I know. You can go onto the NYS site and find out information on any lien that has been filed in NY. For free. But in Delaware, you have to pay for it.

Was just starting to come into his own(32 pts in 47gp in Rochester) then the season was over he left. Up until 10/11 that season in Rochester was his best statistical season as a professional hockey player.

If he's not willing to put in the time and earn his roster spot, then let him go back to Finland. I'm sick and tired of these guys who think they're entitled and we owe them something. They're making a ton of money to play a sport that they love for 6 months out of the year.

Maybe if he had put in the work and was a consistent player this year, he would have gotten a call up or two. It's his own fault really. We had a ton of injuries, it's not like the opportunity wasn't there for him.

He needs some solid linemates and to have a healthy year. I bet playing well with contract potential with the Sabres would change his mind. Also, that article doesn't do Murray any favors if he was considering trading him...

Correct, he could've played almost half the year up here had he put in the work.

So New York doesn't even get to see who's on the board before making their decision. That's rough.
