I know. I didn't say he was some 1 dimensional Alex Semin clone or anything. His offense, defense, and IQ are all good. I just don't see is defense as very good. I don't see him having the defensive prowess that puts him above other players that have "good" defensive abilities. It just doesn't stand out to me IMO.

This is probably the 1st time a team who has been clamoring for a talented center who can score and was voted 2nd best D center by OHL coaches, who also is tough and it's not good enough.

Just saying that it may mean he values the 2015 draft over this year's, and that he may want his 2015 pick instead. Anything can be the truth, anything can be a smokescreen though.

I don't care if he's not Craig Ramsay, there will be others who will do that. Not to mention your top guys are going to be playing a lot of reg shifts and PP time.

Here is an interview of his current coach. He says he does it all. Now, the question is how will he project as a pro? We'll see, but right now I hope it's on the Sabres.

What is your take on the rumors that Gigan might be in it? In the trailer there's a short scene with something that looks somewhat like one of Gigan's claws hitting the ground, and it's gotten a decent bit of buzz.
