OMG.

Arguing with the Leaf losers again over Giordano.

They think they should get him and of course are using the Kadri, Gardiner and 1st as their proposal....again....

And Gio isnt a top 10 Dman....

Well they are making progress, thats up from Franson 2nd and Kulemin

Had a similar conversation with a Bruins fan buddy of mine. All I said is that Gio would've been in serious Norris conversation if he didn't break his ankle. Didn't believe me, showed him the stats...didn't seem to grasp how great they are on a team like Calgary...I ended the night drinking in frustration...

why does a team that traded its captain at the deadline win the leadership battle hands down? i get you put st louis in there, but if you are going the TB captain route, doesnt vinny basically offset that?

Giroux, Timonen, Lecavalier. Just to name 3. But sure, we get crushed in the leadership department.

St. Louis, solid captain and leader, a real team player eh. Bails on the Lightning over a personal matter, true leader. Richards, St. Louis, Nash, and Henrik are their leadership group. I'll take ours any day of the week.

I'm glad most people are picking the Rangers in this toss up of a series. We play better as an underdog.

St. Louis didn't just up and bail on the Lighting. He asked the previous GM for a trade years ago because he has a house in New York and that's where his family is. They didn't trade him at the time and he stuck around for a few years. Now close to the end of his career it became more important to him to get the trade done. The guy stuck it out for years and gave it his all even though he didn't always want to be there. That's pretty good leadership to me.

Accepting the captaincy after Vinny, then demanding a trade to one specific team, after you signed a contract with the team. Pure leadership. I assume you are a close friend or relative of his, knowing the specific reasons for him wanting to go there?
