Interesting note:

Ducks went with Andersen over Hiller

So most likely target-able Goalies this summer.

Hiller, Reimer, Holtby/Halak

Beat me to it. Just looked it up. Hmmm. Wonder if that's the plan? Looks like a pretty good prospect. He is another center though. Guess you can't have too many of them and you could always slide him to the wing. Maybe a trade back scenario with Toronto for Reimer?

Trade up to get Sam Reinhart, then somehow get Dylan Strome. Then two Reinharts and two Stromes. Im sure we could move one of them to wing

Maxim Tretiak @ 15th if you're gonna go the pedigree route. We have forwards by the truckload. We need goalies & defense.

Garth should have traded out 1st pick at the deadline to a league leader(Ducks, Hawks or Bruins) for their later round pick and gotten a decent prospect back. This way, we get a body and can give buffalo a lesser valued 1st. But what do I know. Im not a GM.

Garth cant sign a decent free agent. You think he could trade up AND acquire another 1st pick? Sure. If Tavares is part of the trades, maybe. But I think that would be giving up too much.

Exactly. Some of you are aiming too high. Check the waiver wire if you want to see the list of potential Islanders for next year.

Snow will probably keep this years pick and either pick the best player remaining...or will try and trade it to make the team better immediately.

Going into Brooklyn... and with the sale of the team, this maybe his last year to mess around as a GM.

Could be a scary year for Isles fans.

I know, it wasn't directed at you. You weren't the only one speculating what moves Snow would make. The guys is a one trick pony. Pick up other teams rejects, waive them when they inevitably suck, repeat. It worked only once with Streit, but he just keeps doing it.

I want NHL players now anyway. No more prospects, no more waiver pickups, sign a goalie and a defenseman. If they won't come here, then trade for one.

Easier said then done with Snow and Wang. I don't expect much of that at all. I really do believe that this is a make or break year but I felt that way for years and the Islanders have done nothing to address their needs

You know what I was thinking the same thing. Nabby is not going anywhere I believe he is the glue in that locker room and everyone loves him so you need that type of person in there. Brodeur actually compared to what we have right now is actually an upgrade for a year or two. I still do hope that they bring in a goalie though but I just don't trust snow at all
