Myers is who you keep unless some team overpays for him and blows you away with an offer. He had a better season this year and should be in his prime when the Sabres start to contend for a playoff berth.

Risto is a huge hitter as well. People under estimate him in that department. He is just very smart about it. He doesn't take himself out of position to lay a big hit but when he throws it he does it with force.

His second year he played 80 games, scored 10 goals, 37 points and was a + player. Is that not a good season? Not to mention he was great against Philly in the playoffs.

As Nolan and Murray stated today, young players need support, Myers from the age of 20 was excpected to be a franchise defensemen and was given little support. He's becoming a great player

57 in 74, i did make the statistical assumption he would have had 60+ in 82 games, like Myers's point total listed was for 82 games. Apples to apples. You have me on left vs center, I'll keep my right leg, you can have the right foot.
