Good luck and just one tool you might utilizie is Linkedin in your job search if you don't have an account yet and place your Linkedin address on your resume as part of your address on your resume. I had the 2008 "World's Best Resume Writer" write my resume and she advised that and also placed a Linkedin QR code in the top left hand corner of my resume. You can place a lot more info on your Linkedin site than a 2 page resume. Good luck!

He pretty much said they won't have enough talent to be overly successful, but that they aren't intentionally playing poorly.

Not on purpose but you can tell from the press conference , he is not going to make a valiant effort for ninth place . They want to compete . But he seems to covet McDavid.

LaFontaine did a great job in picking a guy that seems to relate well to us fans as well. This city has pretty much embraced him with open arms. I just hope he doesn't end up disappointing us.

The fact that he said that the person they draft will probably be in Jr next year tells you they aren't planning on making major changes to the roster for next year. They're looking a bit further ahead than that.

Murray seems legit. I have faith. Plus almost everything he and Nolan said is how I feel about this team. Loved the press conference

He was very careful with his choice of words. We'll see what he does in the off- season but my guess is even if they were trying for a run at 8th, most FA's worth anything won't sign here anyways.

He'll likely add veteran players in a depth role and this team will be several wins better but ultimately still a bottom three team. Remember, we were a bottom 10 team with Vanek, Pominville and Miller. He'd basically have to get players equal to or better than them to make this team compete for a playoff spot.

maybe Foligno and Conacher round it out but I think they add a few pieces

Didn't say that.. He said Ekblad will probably be in Juniors and he couldn't say for sure if whoever we draft would be in the NHL next year scoring goals.. Meaning to me that whoever we draft Bennett or Reinhart will not be handed a spot in the NHL in fact they will have to accede expectations greatly to play here.. And frankly if your drafted that high you should be doing that all ready anyway.. If its a forward we draft I expect them to play here

Yeah.. I think they will try to sign a guy to play up their with them but that's probably what will be.. Personally I hope we don't tender Conacher.. did nothing for me and isn't bit enough for a 3rd or 4th line role.. Would rather sign someone else to do what he does

thats a great way to look at that. i think its as much for the leagues benefit as the fans. regardless of what questions the media would ask, most fans are good with tanking next year.
