Girgensons did have an A for the final game of the year. The difference between him and every other guy on the team currently, is that he makes the guys around him better, and that's what a captain should be able to do. He's great in the room and the coach loves him.

I don't know that they give it to anyone next year to be honest. I think they may be better off going with just some As until someone really earns it, but we'll see I guess

That is correct. They kind of rotated the A's around, but that was more or less because of injury for the most part.

This year's UFA crop is laughable... this could be the worst crop in years..

Even with Gaborik and Vanek.. Vanek is almost suredly going to Minnesota and Gabby isn't the same player he was.

I think that the joke of UFA market is going to make this summer a trading frenzy. Teams know that if they want to get better it is going to come via the trade.

On another note.. I am really excited for how dangerous Rochester could be in the playoffs...

they just got a ton of good players back from us with Pysyk, Risto, Ruhwedel, Deslauriers, etc and now they got Carrier from the Q as well. Armia, Varone, Tardiff, and Grigo are there to score too.

I wish Zads could go too but with London hosting the Memorial cup it could be awhile?? Anyone have more info on that because I don't get how that works?

If Florida does trade... it would only be with EDM IMO..

EDM could deal Yak or something to move up...

I still think that FLA needs D more than anything. Their offense isn't set on the wings but it is down the middle.

They are going to have to answer one of those things with that pick or trade of that pick.

There are rumors out there that Florida is rebranding next year and getting a new logo and color scheme and the whole 9 yards... i can see them taking Ekblad and making him the wave of change for their franchise.
