You would love myers
- gerbe75pts

I like Myers... but would take Eberle or Karlsson over him.

Just proving Josh's reasoning is flawed.

You can go back 4 or 5 years after any draft and show teams screwed up.

The truth is the kids are18 yrd old when they are drafted.

I never said that... you are making thing up now.

I'm not here to cut up the Sabres... I have followed them since I was a kid.

I live 30 minutes from Buffalo... I go to lots of games.

Listen to WGR forever... not sure that is a good thing....

The only reason I brought it up is because u just said that the isles are great at drafting. I'd say average.

Myers> Eberle
Karlsson> Myers but Karlsson is a nightmare defensively.

The proof is in writing. I'm not making anything up. Don't care to argue unproductively but I'm guessing that's the agenda for tonight. Sigh

Problem is anything can happen. While it's not likely, the Isles could very well be decent next year, you can't rule out teams with franchise players.

Colorado and Tampa just both picked top 3 in 2013, they now are both in the playoffs. It's not a science, sometimes teams just turn a corner

Agreed that's why I think its ridiculous for people to think Buffalo wont be good in 2 or so years.. I don't think they fall in the Colorado category they drafted in the top 5 for a lot of years so its not as if its come out of nowhere.. Tampa seems to be pretty much good every other year never bottoming out but never really being complete power houses. I think its quite literally impossible for Buffalo to make the playoffs next year but after that who knows.. The league is very unpredictable..

Well with that being said I still don't buy them being close to a contender. But I'm not sure they are bottom 5 with a healthy Tavares

Yeah Toronto is gonna make some noise this offseason. Washington could very easily bounce back. Carolina is tricky to figure out how they will finish. Plus every team in the top 8 looks good.

That's a bit bold.. Sure they have Stamkos and a few others but are generally week on D and guys who have had good years this year but who knows if that will continue.. *Cough* *Cough* Ville Leino.. I think they could be good for a while but they are not in the same field as a Boston or Pittsburgh or LA in terms of decade dominance..

Oh I think they will be to be honest. They have a boat load of good young players and now have 2 extra 1sts they can use or trade with because of the St. Louis deal. They are gonna be a perennial contender IMO

Yeah I agree. A team could Find chemistry and be lucky enough to avoid the injury bug and viola! A new playoff contender.

If we draft well and continue to make smart decisions with the direction of our team. 1 bad draft at this point could kill us.

Well they were bottom five this year and JT was mostly healthy and they lost players so I think they could be worse next season.

I cant believe anybody would eat wings in any sauce other than varying degrees of hot sauce.

Medium.., charred (?) barbecue, honey mustard!? Ew.

Not really, as long as we hit with our top 3 picks and maybe a couple more. Last draft is looking really good so far.
